Ahead of his test with the Ferrari F1 team, multiple MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi has enjoyed time on the team's new F1 simulator in addition to taking to the track in the new 458 Italia.
The Italian, who was paying a visit to Maranello for meetings with team technicians in preparation for the test in Barcelona, took the opportunity to try out the new simulator, while also getting a taste of the new 8-cylinder rear-mid engine Berlinetta.
Although the track was slightly wet and the temperatures very low, Rossi managed to drive a couple of laps and, once he got out of the car, couldn't hide his enthusiasm for this new car.
The MotoGP legend congratulated the technicians present admitting that he thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially the driver set up, the steering precision, the engine and the dual clutch F1 gearbox.
Rossi's F1 test is scheduled to take place on 20 and 21 January.
