Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali is confident that his team will beat Michael Schumacher this season, pointing out that new recruit Fernando Alonso has done so twice already.
In what is shaping up to be one of the most mouth-watering seasons in the history of the sport, one of several battle that fans are looking forward to is that between 7-time world champion and Ferrari, the team with which he spent 11 seasons winning 5 titles and 72 Grands Prix.

"Let's not forget Fernando is the only driver on the track who in his career has beaten Michael to the world championship," he said. "Fernando has everything to beat him."
Schumacher's move to Mercedes represents a quandary for the Tifosi, for the German who achieved so much for the Italian team is now racing for a rival. Fans are also trying to come to terms with how Schumacher is able to return to action with the German team yet called off a return to Ferrari last season to replace Felipe Massa citing a neck injury.
Ever the diplomat, all Domenicali would say was: "We thought of Michael last year because he is an extraordinary and strong driver. But Fernando and Felipe are able to beat him even if Michael is still very strong.
"Of course, it is right not to forget that what has happened has left its mark," he added. "But now we have to turn the page. We have to show Michael that this is a strong team. We want to win."
