NEWS STORY
It's fair to say that other than winning one of our competitions, the only way the average F1 fan is going to get their hands on an Amalgam model is to either win the lottery, work for one of the numerous banks underwritten by the long-suffering British tax payer or get yourself elected as an MP at the next year's election.
However, other than those superb 1:8 scale cars and 1:1 scale steering wheels, rightly described as works of art, our good friend at Amalgam do a wide range of affordable items sure to be of interest to all F1 fans at this time of the year.
We've put together a special gallery of such items including 1:4 scale steering wheels, 1:12 nose cones and even a couple of 1:43 A1GP cars.
In fact, for the benefit of any MPs or bankers that may be reading this we have also included a couple of the bigger models, just in case.
Not only are the small models of outstanding quality and great value for money, they do, if you are able to get close enough, make highly collectable items if signed, far more exclusive than a race programme or book.
