2009 Formula Three Euroseries champion, Jules Bianchi, currently testing with Ferrari at Jerez, is understood to have signed a "long term" contract with the Maranello outfit.
Although Ferrari has yet to officially announce the deal, a spokesman for the team today confirmed that the 20-year-old has signed a "multi-year deal".
Bianchi, like Felipe Massa, is managed by Nicolas Todt, son of former Ferrari boss and newly-elected FIA president Jean Todt.
The French youngster, whose great-uncle Lucien took part in 19 Grands Prix between 1959 and 1968, today completed his second day of testing with the Maranello outfit, his best time placing him sixth overall over the two days.
Other than his Ferrari test role, in 2010 Bianchi will contest the GP2 Series with ART Grand Prix, of which Nicolas Todt is co-owner.
