According to his personal physician, Dino Altmann, Felipe Massa is doing "very well" and is due to head back home to Brazil on Monday, just ten days after his crash during qualifying for the Hungarian GP.
"Felipe continues to improve," Altmann told reporters in Budapest. "He is doing very well and we already decided to go back home on Monday. I think this decision says all you need to know about his condition."
Altmann remains convinced that Massa will be able to return to F1 and be competitive, however, he was unwilling to reveal any sort of timescale.
