Trident Racing will feature a new driver this weekend for the 5th round of the season, as Davide Rigon will hand his car to Venezuelan driver Rodolfo Gonzalez (right), who is making his debut in the GP2 ,ain series.
The 23-year-old has previously entered the GP2 Asia Series, and is currently racing in the Euroseries 3000. At Nurburgring, Gonzalez will partner Ricardo Teixeira, part of Trident Racing since the last rounds of the last Asia Series.
The team is currently waiting for a response regarding the economic support that will allow Rigon to continue running, as the team has invested in him with confidence and is looking forward to some positive news and to see him back in the car soon.
