2007 World Champion, Kimi Raikkonen, who has previously contested three non-championship rallies, is to make his World Rally Championship debut at the end of next month.
The Finn, who is currently tenth in the F1 Drivers' Championship, will drive a Fiat Abarth Grande Punto in the Neste Oil Rally Finland, which gets underway on July 29.
"The roads used for this rally are so fast but he's very talented," said his co-driver, Kaj Lindstrom.
The event, which takes place in the gap between the Hungarian and Europan Grands Prix, will see the Finn competing against WRC legends such as Sebastien Loeb and, current championship leader, Mikko Hirvonen.
