Following today's meeting in Monaco between the ten teams that comprise FOTA, the teams alliance has announced that if the FIA pushes ahead with its proposals, none of them will enter the 2010 championship.
Speaking after the meeting, which took place on Flavio Briatore's yacht, and was also attended by Bernie Ecclestone, and despite speculation that the new found partnership was under threat, FOTA President Luca di Montezemolo announced: "We will not enter the championship with these rules and with this governance.
"As always there's been a very good meeting," he continued, "with a very good atmosphere and we are all together. We will be in position to go to the chairman of FIA saying in a very constructive but very clear way the position of FOTA.
"FOTA is now an organisation with a common view," he added. "We have to discuss about the possibility to change the situation in a constructive way, but in a very clear way, because we want Formula 1 - we don't want something different."
With just a week to go before the 2010 entry deadline, the teams will be meeting with Max Mosley later today.
