The main highlight of the GP2 Main Series season is set to take place this weekend at Monte Carlo, as the Monaco Grand Prix will also host the second round of 2009 for the premier Formula One feeder series. Trident Racing, as well as owner Maurizio Salvadori are ready to be back after taking two victories in 2007 with Pastor Maldonado and in 2008 with Mike Conway, who was also followed under the flag by Chinese team-mate Ho-Pin Tung.
On such a tough and unpredictable race, the winning attitude will be a key factor in the challenge brought by the two 2009 drivers. Italian Davide Rigon and Angolan Ricardo Teixeira, both rookies, will be facing Monte Carlo for the first time, on a track where a mistake can cause irreversible consequences. At least, their efforts won't be marred by rain, as forecasts predict an almost perfect weather.
