Heading into the third round of the World Championship and yet to score a point, Ferrari have announced the setting up of a working group ahead of this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix.

Team Manager Luca Baldisserri will not attend the race in Shanghai this weekend, his responsibilities being handed over to Chris Dyer. Instead, the Italian will remain at the Italian outfit's Maranello HQ as part of the new working group whose aim is to close the gap to Brawn GP, winner of the first two races.

The working group, which will be led by Aldo Costa; "will follow the single-seater's development step by step", the Maranello team announced.

As part of its fight back, the reigning Constructors' Champions announced that there will be several new aerodynamic features at Shanghai, having been tested by Marc Gene last week at the Vairano straight.

The tyres to be used in China are the same as in Australia and the main job during the three hours of free practice on Friday will be to understand how the two types run on the tarmac, which is completely different to the one at Albert Park.
