Pitpass sources claim that the workforce at Brackley has been informed that there will be a large number of compulsory redundancies.
While there is no official news from the team, our sources claim that letters have been sent to all members of staff warning that there will be a need to cut jobs if the team is to survive. We understand that between 275 and 300 people are expected to go.
We hear that in some cases company cars have already been returned.
The news follows reports yesterday that at the Honda manufacturing plant in Swindon, up to 3,000 staff face redundancy or pay cuts.
