Having not heard a peep from him in recent week, people were beginning to get a little worried, after all, it's not like him to be so quiet.
Then we heard from a reliable source that he was on holiday, skiing, probably trying to put the worry of trying to sell the Honda F1 team out of his mind for a couple of days.
Now guess who's popped up at the Formula One Teams' Association press conference in Geneva.... why, it's Mr Fry.
Funny thing is, Mr Fry gets to line up with all the other Team Principals but not a sign of Ross Brawn. Then again, Ross, who was in Geneva yesterday, has serious work to do as opposed to photocalls and soundbites.
