We're hearing from a reliable source that Honda Japan has given the all-clear for the proposed management buy-out of its Formula One team.
In addition to the fact that the story has yet to be officially confirmed, there is no clue as to who exactly comprises the management team that has bought the team.
Furthermore, we hear that the deal is subject to a "one year window", which appear to suggest that Honda may well continue funding much of the operation but the new buyer has one year in which to get the team working under its own steam.
