Testing resumes

NEWS STORY

The new testing rules mean that it has been unusually quiet so far this year, with the tests that have taken place all affected by adverse weather conditions in one way or another.

This week the majority of the teams are in action once again, however, unlike the January sessions the action is divided between just two tracks the Bahrain International Circuit and Jerez.

Ferrari, Toyota and BMW will all be in action in Bahrain, where we can expect weather conditions to be ideal, other than the occasional sandstorm, while all but Force India (and Honda) will be on track at Jerez.

Red Bull has the Spanish track to itself today as it launches its 2009 contender, however, tomorrow, McLaren, Williams, Renault and Toro Rosso will join in the fun, the Faenza outfit continuing with the 2008 car.

As ever, all the times, details, gossip and pictures will appear on Pitpass.
