Sebastien Bourdais, who is still waiting on a decision from Toro Rosso as to whether he will be in F1 next season, will be in action for the Faenza-based outfit at Jerez next week.
The Frenchman, who is hoping to secure the second seat alongside Sebastien Buemi, will be in action on Thursday 12 and Friday 13.
The Italian team has said that it might leave a decision on its full line-up until the last possible moment, is said to be considering several other drivers, including Takuma Sato, Bruno Senna and even Jenson Button. However, the fact that Bourdais is to get two days in the car appears to be a positive move in the Frenchman's favour.
