When one considers the number of mistakes made by Ferrari this year, it doesn't come as too much of a surprise to learn that a number of changes are being made as the 2008 Constructors' Championship winners look ahead to 2009.
First off, the team has done away with the Operations Director role, consequently Mario Almondo will now take charge of the quality control of the road car division of the legendary Maranello marque.
While the Operations Director roles has disappeared, production and quality control of the racing division now comes under the jurisdiction of technical director Aldo Costa, while Massimo Rivola, previously with Toro Rosso, will now manage sporting activity and logistics, regulations and circuits.
Diego Ioverno, head of the transmission assembly department, aided by Mick Ainsley-Cowlinshaw, who was previously Team Manager at Super Aguri, will be responsible for assembling, while Thierry Baritaud takes charge of the team's KERS programme.
Luca Baldisserri retains his role as head of track operations, while Chris Dyer will now coordinate all race engineering activities, including the test team.
In another change, Andrea Stella takes over as Kimi Raikkonen's engineer, the role having previously been held by Dyer.
