The World Motor Sport Council has today revealed a number of changes to the 2009 Formula One calendar.
Following the dropping of the Canadian Grand Prix, and the decision by the FFSA to cancel the French race, China has been moved from its original October date to April, the week before the Bahrain Grand Prix.
While the order of the remaining races remains the same, several dates have been changed meaning that the season will now end on November 1 in Abu Dhabi as opposed to November 15.
Furthermore, the races in Australia and Malaysia will start at 17:00 local time, in Singapore at 2000 local time, and in Japan at 1500 local time.
