According to a report in the Brazilian media, organizers of Sunday's championship deciding Grand Prix have come up with a novel way of celebrating the new champion.
According to Gazeta Esportiva, depending on who looks certain to take the title - Lewis Hamilton or Felipe Massa - members of the respective driver's family will be invited to wave the chequered flag at the end of the race. In the case of Hamilton it would be father Anthony and brother Nicholas, while Luiz Antonio and Ana Elena would do the honours for Massa.
That said, on recent form, it may well be that we see the Race Stewards waving the wretched thing and the title decided in the Place de la Concorde in early December.
