Following today's Singapore Grand Prix, Toyota protested to the Race Stewards claiming that Sebastian Vettel had been unsafely released following his pit stop.
The Japanese team claimed that the German was released into the path of Timo Glock as he was leaving the pits, but since Vettel finished behind the Toyota anyway (in fifth) many within the paddock are mystified as to what might be gained by such a protest.
As it happens, after speaking to both drivers and viewing video footage, the Race Stewards rejected the protest.
