Jarno Trulli has been fined 10,000 euros and reprimanded for an incident in this morning's free practice session.
Having spun at the final corner, the Italian spun his car around and then drove against the 'traffic flow' before turning right and into the pitlane, rather than complete another full lap.
It is one of the 'sacred rules' of motorsport that one does not drive against the race direction and consequently the Toyota driver, a leading light in the GPDA, can consider himself lucky to have escaped so lightly.
The Italian was summoned by the Race Stewards following this morning's session, officially reprimanded and then handed the fine.
