David Coulthard, who last week revealed that he is to retire at the end of the season, has tipped Toro Rosso driver Sebastian Vettel to replace him at Red Bull.
Speaking to the official formula1.com website, Coulthard said: "For me Sebastian has everything that a future winner in Formula One needs. Also, his maturity and approach shows that he is the best man for the job. So I am very confident that he would be able to do a very good job for Red Bull Racing."
Ironically, Coulthard, who took part in his last ever British Grand Prix at the weekend, was involved in a first lap incident which saw both drivers eliminated.
Following last week's announcement, Red Bull confirmed that Mark Webber will remain with the Austrian outfit for a third season.
