Glastonbury was spared, pretty much of Wimbledon has been spared... however, if the forecasters have got it right, as far as the Great British Summer is concerned, it will be business as usual this weekend for the British GP.
It's currently predicted that while Friday will see some sunshine, conditions will deteriorate over the following twenty-fours hours with rain forecast for Saturday, Sunday and beyond. Indeed, it is currently predicted that temperatures will also fall on Sunday.
With Ferrari looking to be red-hot favourites for victory at the Northamptonshire track, McLaren, and to a greater extent BMW and Renault might be grateful for a typical British Summer weekend.
