A sunny afternoon session concluded an incident-free two-day test for the thirteen GP2 teams at Paul Ricard today.
At the wheel of his iSport car Bruno Senna (right) set the pace just ahead of ART Grand Prix’s Luca Filippi. However, the Italian driver remains the quickest of the day with his morning time of 1:09.934.
These two men are followed by Racing Engineering’s Giorgio Pantano, Filippi’s teammate Romain Grosjean and Piquet Sports’ Andreas Zuber.
Having already missed the morning session, Christian Bakkerud missed the afternoon session also as he preferred to rest before the upcoming race event at Magny Cours.
The GP2 circus will now head to France where the fourth round of the 2008 championship will take place next week. Bruno Senna and Giorgio Pantano are joint leaders of the championship with 24 points, ahead of Romain Grosjean and Alvaro Parente both with 19 points.
