Thanks to Alexander Stelmakh of FormulaMag who has supplied us with a copy of the (exceedingly) brief letter sent by Igor Yermilin, Ppresident of the Russian Federation of Auto Sport and Tourism (R-FAST), to Max Mosley today, which essentially gives support to the twenty-four clubs that wrote earlier.
It reads: "Hereby, Russian Federation of Auto Sport & Tourism (R-FAST) strongly supports the common opinion of the 24 FIA Member Clubs stated in the letter of the 28th of May"
However, there is speculation that the Russian federation could miss next Tuesday's vote, having passed its proxy on to Belarus, which in turn, does not have the funds needed to pay its FIA membership fee.
Today's letter was also sent to the twenty-four clubs, FIA Deputy President Franco Lucchesi and Bernie Ecclestone, CEO of Delta Topco Ltd.
