Toro Rosso has revealed that its new car will not make its debut at this weekend's Turkish GP.
"We haven't had enough time to produce all the spares we need," a spokesperson for the team admitted.
Everything was on schedule, with the STR3 due to make its debut in Turkey following the test at Barcelona ahead of the Spanish GP. However, Sebastien Bourdais crashed the car, bringing the team's test to an early end and putting the Istanbul debut in jeopardy.
The team claims that introducing the car was always an "ambitious" target and that Bourdais' crash merely "complicated" the situation.
It is unclear whether the STR3 will now make its debut in Monaco or Canada.
