Race Stewards at Sepang have given Red Bull the all-clear to contest today's sessions, and tomorrow's race, but have warned that they will continue to monitor the situation following concerns over the RB4.

Following yesterday's incident in the first practice session, when the front of David Coulthard's car appeared to disintegrate after running over the kerbs, and the team's subsequent decision not to run the Scot in the second session as it investigated the matter, the Milton Keynes outfit was told to prove to the FIA's technical delegate that the car was 'safe' or risk exclusion.

Earlier today, having received a full report from Red Bull, the FIA issued a statement based on which the stewards allowed the cars to run.

The statement read: "Having received a written report from Red Bull Racing and the verbal report from the Technical Delegate who has conducted a visual check of the front suspension of the Red Bull car, the Stewards, at this stage, intend to take no action under Art 2.3 of the 2008 Formula One Technical Regulations. This matter will however, be kept under review during the event."
