They left it late, but Honda finally passed the mandatory crash tests ahead of the Australian GP weekend.
As Pitpass exclusively revealed earlier this week, whilst the Brackley outfit prepared for this weekend's Grand Prix, the new nose and rear end introduced at Jerez last week had yet to pass the mandatory crash test.
After two days of anxious waiting the new nose and rear were signed off yesterday (Wednesday). Had they failed, the team would have had to run in Melbourne with the launch-spec nose and rear.
Another team which left things worryingly late was Red Bull, which had its nose pass the test today (Thursday).
