While Bernie Ecclestone eyes a race on the streets of Paris, claiming that F1 will not return to Magny-Cours after this year's race, the chairman of the French Racing Federation (FFSA) has said that no decision has been made regarding the future of the French GP, yet.
"Much has been written about the French Grand Prix for 2009," said Nicolas Deschaux, according to the French news agency AFP. "It is nothing new that Mr Ecclestone is calling for an approach on Paris but as things stand there is nothing finalised regarding next year.
"Once the 2008 race is out of the way we will see about the future," he added.
