Super Aguri has revealed that its planned car launch - scheduled to take place at Barcelona next week (19th) - will not now take place. Instead, reporters will be allowed to interview team boss Aguri Suzuki and Mark Preston.
However, the team, whose 2008 car passed the mandatory FIA crash test last week, is in action at Jerez this week, and will be taking part in both the forthcoming tests at Barcelona. It is at Barcelona that the 2008 car will make its debut.
Pitpass sources say the team has delayed the launch until both drivers are confirmed and a number of sponsorship deals have been completed.
This means that there will probably be a roll-out for photographers in Melbourne.
