Next weekend marks the opening of the first GP2 Asia Series Championship in Dubai, and today was the first time the 26 title contenders got their first real impressions of the circuit.
Adrian Valles in his FMS car set the pace in the morning session on a sand-covered track which prompted many drivers to wait until the afternoon session.
ART Grand Prix driver Romain Grosjean topped the second session, setting the fastest lap of the day with a 1:22.497, ahead of Andy Soucek and Adrian Valles.
