After a good performance in the Czech Republic that pleased the Mexican contingent, Michel Jourdain Jr. continues with A1 Team Mexico in Malaysia, where he hopes to collect his first points in the series.
"I'm very happy and excited about going to Malaysia to race in A1GP. Malaysia is a circuit with all kind of corners... very fast, but I've heard from all the people who know the circuit that is one of the best in the world. Honestly, I am looking forward to know it," Michel Jourdain Jr. said.
"I think at Brno I was improving my performance and I think we should keep improving, that's my goal for the weekend at Malaysia. Hopefully, I will be able to qualify in the Top-10 and collect points in both races."
Julio Jauregui Executive Vice President of A1 Team Mexico made the announcement and said: "We are very pleased with Michel's learning curve, who in a short period of time was able to adapt himself to the A1 car at Brno and that's why we have decided to call him again to represent Mexico in the A1GP The World Cup of Motorsport.
"Again, he will participate in the rookie session because we want him to have more seat time with this type of car."
