If a report in British tabloid The Sun is to be believed - and it must be admitted that in some aspects of 'journalism', namely celebrity gossip, it leads the way - the relationship between McLaren's two star drivers may face another slight hurdle.
The tabloid reports that the "mystery brunette" Lewis Hamilton was seen frolicking with on the beach at St Tropez last week is none other than Sara Ojjeh, 18-year-old daughter of Mansour Ojjeh, who still owns 15 percent of McLaren, despite having sold - along with Ron Dennis - considerable slices of the company to DaimlerChrysler and the Mumtalakat Holding Company, which is wholly owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It was known that Hamilton was holidaying in St Tropez on Ojjeh's private yacht, but until now the identity of Lewis's female companion was a mystery.
Probably just two people having some fun, trying to put the high-octane soap opera that is F1 as far from their thoughts as possible. After all, having been on McLaren's books for some time, Hamilton and Sara will have known one another for years.
Then again, it would be interesting to know how Fernando will react.
