Honda and Super Aguri concluded a three day test at Jerez today.

Having recovered from the back pain which prevented him driving yesterday, Jenson Button was in the RA107 today as the Brackley outfit continued to focus on the evaluation of new mechanical and aerodynamic updates.

"Today was a productive day," said the Englishman. "I completed 122 laps and every single one of them was useful. We were testing our new aero and mechanical parts and I believe it was a positive test. However we need to wait until we get to Magny Cours next week to see where we stand compared to the other teams."

Anthony Davidson was on duty for Super Aguri, spending the morning completing engine mapping work whilst also practicing race starts. He continued with set-up work in the afternoon and completed a total of 78 laps for the day. The SA07 ran reliably and with out any issues for the duration of the three-day test.

"I could feel the improvement made on the car since the winter, which is always positive," said Davidson. "Today we worked mainly on traction control and some set-up work to give us better performance on long runs. I am happy with the work achieved today and am looking forward to the French Grand Prix next week."

"We have had a good three days with the both drivers able to complete their workloads," said sporting director Graham Taylor, " as always, we concentrated on 'quality not quantity' with the car running reliably.

"The lovely Spanish weather allowed for progress to be made with both the Honda power-train and Bridgestone Potenza tyres."
