Williams technical director Sam Michael has been his with a 5,000 euro fine after arriving late for the official press conference on Friday.
In a statement issued by the stewards of the meeting, it was declared that following a report from the race director, and having considered the matter, Michael would be fined for breaching the regulations.
Michael was informed of the decision on Saturday evening, shortly after Nico Rosberg had qualified seventh for today's race, and Alex Wurz twentieth.
