Christian Vietoris (right) is set to drive the majority of races for newly-crowned champions A1 Team Germany next season.
The 18-year-old has driven in some of the rookie and developing nations sessions this season, and made his race debut for the team in Mexico last month when lead driver Nico Hulkenberg was unavailable.
Seat holder Willi Weber has said that it is now likely that Vietoris, whom he manages, will graduate to the main driving role within the team next year.
"In the third A1 GP season Christian should fill the role that Nico played this year," said Weber, "because it goes without saying that we will be competing to defend our title.
"It's fantastic that the A1 GP World Cup of Motorsport was established. As a result, the historical opportunity exists to represent Germany in this sector of sport. I'm proud to be able to do exactly this in motorsport with our A1 Team Germany - and successfully too."
Weber revealed that Hulkenberg will race for the team at the season finale at Brands Hatch next week.
