ART/ASM has announced the arrival of a new prestigious shareholder in their company, the Crown Prince of the Bahrain Kingdom, Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al- Khalifa. The capital of ART/ASM will now see distributed between Fréderic Vasseur and Nicolas Todt to the value of 35% each, while Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al- Khalifa will receive the other 30% of the company shares. The new deal reached by ART/ASM will not change anything in regard to the organization and roles within the company.
Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa: With this investment I am very pleased to continue increasing the regions support for motorsport and in particular I look forward to developing the ART/ASM Company well into the future with two very reliable and dynamic partners. In particular, it is my aspiration to see regional drivers at home in the GP2 series in a few years time so that the passion for engineering and the drive to win is encouraged in our youth. However, due to my many duties, the management of the team will remain in the capable hands of the current organizers. I am very excited in regard to the future of our very ambitious team.
Nicolas Todt: We are very proud to welcome the Prince into our company. This new era in the company will enable us to face the future with increased development prospects and look ahead into the long term. With the Prince's arrival, we will have a greater potential to develop new projects, armed with solid technical back up.
Frederic Vasseur: The merger of ART and ASM into a joint force was the first stage of a company which falls under the duration and it enables us to welcome a solid new investor into the company. I am very proud of this new development which will open new horizons for us and allow us to reinforce our capacity to invest in new technologies.
