Andreas Zuber and the iSport International team have again found themselves on top of the GP2 series timesheets as the final pre-season test of 2007 kicked off at Circuit Paul Ricard, France, today. Their dominance however was disrupted in both sessions by Super Nova International's Luca Filippi who split Andy from his team-mate Timo Glock on both occasions.
The times were incredibly tight, with the top 20 drivers in the morning covered by a single second. Pastor Maldonado took the fourth fastest lap of the day overall to rank as the highest placed rookie, just ahead of Antonio Pizzonia and Giorgio Pantano.
Only 25 drivers took part in today's test, as Dams' Kazuki Nakajima is attending the F1 season- opening Australian Grand Prix, where he will take part in the event as Williams F1's third driver.
