BCN Competicion will field two new drivers in 2007 as it searches for its first win in the GP2 series.
After signing Japanese F1 driver Sakon Yamamoto to front their campaign for glory in the third year of the championship, the team has announced Ricardo Risatti as his team-mate.
The young Argentine driver, 20 years old, comes to the GP2 series following an amazing season in the Spanish Formula 3 championship, in which he won the championship.
Enrique Scalabroni, BCN Competicion team boss was delighted to have confirmed his drivers for 2007. "The arrival of a young talent like Ricardo Risatti will be perfectly complemented by the experience that Sakon Yamamoto will bring to our team. I am firmly convinced BCN will have one of the most equilibrated couple of drivers in GP2, that could allow us to get many satisfactions throughout the season".
Ricardo Risatti, too expressed his joy at sealing one of the last remaining seats in the series. "Working with BCN team and with my fellow countryman Enrique Scalabroni fills me with enthusiasm. I am really motivated: I will have to learn a lot about the GP2 world, but I am ready to face this new challenge with the maximum determination and professionalism".
There are now just two seats unconfirmed, one at Racing Engineering and one at Durango.
