A1 Team France heads to the seventh round of the A1GP season at Eastern Creak, near Sydney, Australia, this weekend.
The team is in high spirits after collecting 14 points at the last round in New Zealand.
At Eastern Creak, Loic Duval (right), one of the drivers from the France FFSA filière, will again drive for the team after taking two second places in the sprint and feature races at Taupo, New Zealand.
"After our great result in the last race, which took us to second place in the championship behind Germany, we're now aiming for a dominant weekend in Australia," admitted Managing Director Eric Boullier. "We have good data about the track with from last year when Nicolas Lapierre won both races for us."
"I'm really excited to be going to Australia in such a strong position," said Duval, "having scored fourteen points in my first race weekend with the team. It will be my first ever visit to Australia so everything will be new to me. Eastern Creek seems to be an interesting circuit with a couple of really exciting corners. One thing is clear to me after my debut race last week: A1 Grand Prix requires precision and to make no mistakes from start to finish. I've been training hard since the last race and I will be in great shape. I hope I can echo Nicolas Lapierre's double win in last year races in Australia."
