Kimi Raikkonen has made his much-anticipated debut with Ferrari.
The Finn was in action alongside 2007 teammate Felipe Massa today at Vallelunga's Piero Taruffi circuit on the outskirts of Rome.
While Massa drove the new F2007, the Finn was at the wheel of a 2006 car, the 248 F1.
A small crowd of fans gathered for what may well be a historic moment in motor racing history, with the Finn stepping into the void created by seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher's retirement.
While Raikkonen got to know the 248 F1, Massa concentrated on development of the 2007 contender.
Both driver continue here tomorrow.
