Speaking at the launch of his team's 2007 contender, the MP4-22, Ron Dennis insisted that his team is seeking a new youthful image, admitting that research had revealed that some people found McLaren to be "cold, not particularly user-friendly and slightly aloof". As if!
The man of a thousand words - and that's just telling you the time - is confident that his new driver line up, new sponsors, new livery and new image will change the public's perception.
Sadly, there were times during yesterday's launch when it appeared that in his quest to find a new image, Ron Dennis had actually created Formula One's equivalent of The Stepford Wives.
Though the silver overalls have been consigned to the nearest charity shop, the new ones, together with the cropped haircuts, conjure up images of the Blue Oyster Club and El Bimbo pounding out through the speakers.
Anyway, here we can see that the boys are very excited (look closely), as Lewis has received a text or maybe it's a movie...
