Team Principal David Sears has announced Super Nova's driver line up for the GP2 2007 Season.
Sears, who will celebrate his 20th year in team management this season says "I am delighted to announce Mike Conway and Luca Filippi as our drivers in GP2 for 2007. Both drivers have demonstrated their considerable skills in winter testing and both have been amongst the quickest guys out there.
We believe that we will have one of the strongest, quickest & most intelligent driver pairings, & we are looking forward to winning again!"
Luca Filippi's GP2 debut in 2006 was split, driving only three races for FMS, before completing the second half of the campaign for Durango, gaining valuable experience along the way. When asked about this union he answered "I have a great relationship with the team, after testing with Super Nova. I'm sure it's going to be a very interesting year with a good, strong team."
British racing driver Mike Conway, who last year successfully claimed the British F3 International Series title in September, before going on to win the Macau F3 Grand Prix too, said " I am very happy to be making this natural progression (into the F1 feeder series GP2) I will be learning new circuits, and up against some tough competition, but that's what it's all about!"
