Ferrari will launch its 2007 car at Fiorano next Sunday (January 14).

The Italian team is working flat out to ensure the car is ready, however, there have been reports that the launch might be held without the new car.

Speaking to Pitpass on Sunday evening, a Ferrari spokesman said: "The car will be visible if it is finished on time".

"However," the source added, "the priority is the shakedown scheduled the morning after".

On the Monday (15), following the launch, the car will take to the track with Felipe Massa at the wheel.

The Italian team's 2006 contender, the 248 F1, despite a 'slow' start to the season, went on to win nine Grands Prix - one more than Renault - allowing Michael Schumacher to finish runner up to World Champion Fernando Alonso.
