Although it has yet to be officially confirmed by Ferrari, sources in Germany are claiming that Luca Baldisserri (right, with Michael Schumacher) will take over as pit-wall strategist in 2007, following Ross Brawn's decision to retire.
In October, the Maranello outfit announced that Mario Almondo was to succeed Brawn as Technical Director, with Stefano Domenicali assuming the role of sporting director.
However, Auto Motor und Sport is claiming that it will be Baldisserri who makes the all important decisions during races next season, regarding tyres, pit stops and set-up.
It is widely assumed that Brawn's retirement is temporary - how much fishing can a man do? - ahead of a return in 2008 when it is thought he might replace Jean Todt as team boss.
