Kimi Raikkonen has made a surprise visit to Jerez to check out the progress his new team is making.
The Finn doesn't officially join the Italian team until January 1, but took the opportunity to meet up with the Italian outfit's test team at the Spanish track this morning.
Because he is still under contract to McLaren-Mercedes, Raikkonen was unable to speak to journalists, and, having watched progress from the pitwall, joined Felipe Massa for the lunchtime debrief.
It's understood that this was the Finn's only visit to the test this week.
