We hear that WilliamsF1 is to launch its 2007 contender, the FW29 at Grove on February 2.
The launch, as in 2006, will be a static event, with the car unveiled in front of invited guests and journalists.
After a disappointing season in 2006, much is expected next year, with Alexander Wurz joining Nico Rosberg and the team switching to Toyota powerplants.
Furthermore, the addition of communications giant AT&T as title sponsor, will surely give the British team, surely the last of the true independents, much needed push as it strives to return to the front of the grid.
Finally, a team spokesman has confirmed to Pitpass that in 2007 the team will be known as AT&T Williams, having chosen to drop the 'F1' from its title.
After McLaren, BMW and Toyota, AT&T Williams is the fourth team to announce its 2007 launch date.
Williams' first test of the New Year is at Valencia on January 30, though it is not known at this time if the FW29 will make an appearance. However, it is sure to be in action when the British team begins a three-day test at Jerez on February 6.
