Leading the charge for Team Brasil at Brno this weekend will be Tuka Rocha (right), who made his A1GP race debut last Sunday at the opening round at Zandvoort in the Netherlands. This weekend Tuka brings racing experience of the Brno circuit with him, and is looking to open Team Brasil's points account at the Czech track. Taking on the support role will be Xandi Negrão, who will participate in Friday's rookie practice session.
Tuka Rocha: "Hopefully this will be a good weekend for us. I have raced at Brno in Euro 3000 and it's a really good track. It's very long with a lot of medium corners and one fast corner, so it's a nice, quick track. I had a really good race here in 3000. I started from the back of the grid after we were given a penalty from qualifying, and I ended up finishing sixth. It was a difficult opening weekend for us in Zandvoort but I will be doing my best in Brno to achieve some good results and start to get some points for the team."
Xandi Negrão: "I'm looking forward to joining the team for the first time. I will be catching up with Ruben (Carrapatoso), who did last weekend's rookie sessions, because he is coming to Brno so we can exchange some information. I really want to help the team to develop the car as much as possible and contribute something to the programme. It will be interesting to see how the whole weekend works, and hopefully I can help the team achieve a good result."
