Fernando Alonso, who qualified fifth for tomorrow's Italian Grand Prix, has been summoned before the race stewards following an incident during the final phase of today's qualifying session.
It's understood that Felipe Massa, who qualified fourth, complained that the Spaniard blocked him on one of his fast laps.
Earlier in the final phase, Alonso suffered a tyre failure, which appeared to compromise his bid for pole. However, he subsequently qualified fifth, just behind Massa, keeping his hopes for a win, and thereby an opportunity to extend his championship lead, alive.
Alonso will meet with the stewards after today's GP2 race.
In Hungary, Alonso was penalised following an incident with Robert Doornbos, the two clashing again three weeks later in Turkey.
