Ferrari has refused to comment on speculation that Ross Brawn (right) is to take a sabbatical at the end of the current season, a claim which suggests the break up of the dynasty that has dominated Formula One since 2000.

If Brawn were to take a year out, it would appear that Michael Schumacher had already decided to retire and that team boss Jean Todt is also ready to move on.

However, speaking on Wednesday evening, Ferrari's Luca Colajanni refused to pass comment on the speculation: "I can only tell you that this is yet another piece of speculation about our future," he told Pitpass editor, Chris Balfe. "We will announce something about the structure of the team in 2007 only after the end of the current season."

Michael Schumacher is the key to the 2007 driver market, and opinion as to whether he will retire or remain seems to change on an almost daily basis.

However, in much the same way that the driver market is built around the German's decision, it appears the current Maranello 'dream team' follows suit, with the futures of Brawn, Todt and several other key individuals thought to be linked to the seven-time World Champion's future.

Speaking on Sunday, Jean Todt reiterated that Schumacher's decision will be announced directly after the Italian Grand Prix, whilst the team structure for 2007 and beyond will be revealed at the end of the season.
