NEWS STORY
Despite the plethora of statements and deadlines, nothing appears to be happening with regards the on-going engine freeze saga.
Remembering the words of the old adage, 'no news is good news', we can only assume that for now the situation has calmed and that discussions are continuing.
Then again, common sense would suggest that no news will very often mean bad news.
Anyway, we are sure that if F1 was facing a major catastrophe, be it legal action or walk outs, someone somewhere would have been rattling their sabre by now.
Let's hope that all the parties involved are on the way to finding a solution which will benefit everyone, not least racing fans.
